John Ross -  Bass

 

John is a extremely vertatile bassist.  He performs in all venues and projects ranging from Big Band to small combos.

 

John grew up in St. Louis where he majored in Jazz Studies at Webster University, focusing on Bass Performance.  While in St. Louis, John played in local nightclubs and worked with traveling bands throughout the Midwest. 

 

John now calls San Diego home.  He plays straight-ahead and Latin jazz with a number of groups.  He is also a regular member of the pit orchestra supporting City College productions at the Saville Theater.
